Disintegrating before the eyes of an indifferent American public remnants of the Democrat Party are scrambling to find a common center. Beaten badly in the 2016 presidential election these soldiers of liberalism must now confront their losses in the hallways and conference rooms of history.  Down on their luck is insufficient for them. Their newest escapade is obstructionism.  Government works best when balance and order coexist in the same plane of time. Party leaders and disoriented minions have taken to the media attempting to stretch their withering power by explaining why they are boycotting President Trump’s Cabinet nomination hearings. Excuses for their absence range from a stubbed toe to sudden dementia. A few have tried the race card yet fewer were paying attention to this ancient rhetoric.  Listening to the Senate Minority leader and his tearful presentations challenges the weakess minds amongst us. Trump has triumphed by injecting himself into the opposing party members’ egos causing  visual distress as is apparent on the Minority Leader’s face. We are now at the crossroads of jealousy, envy, insanity and circumspection where no liberal can take sanctuary.

Democracy moves in waves. Flagrant violation of civility, process and Congressional custom are on display as members of the Senate dance around their sole purpose for being in the nation’s capital, performing the peoples’ business.  Democratic principles are not in the forefront in the minds of those who suspend rational thought in pursuit of revenge against the conservative leadership. Ironically the opposing party can dance until they wear out their shoes in a fruitless effort to block confirmation of Trump nominees.  The interrogation intensity of potential Trump appointees has been so vigorous one could extrapolate the examiners are looking for terrorism in their backgrounds. Fumbling with minutia orchestrated attempts to diminish the nomination and or approval process enhances the likelihood the conservative base will use the nuclear option. Meaning a 51 instead of 60 vote count by the Senate can be utilized to seat desperately needed leadership in their respective departments. The path voting will take is all dependent on the minority party.

President Trump chose the best of the best in Judge Neil Gorsuch as the nominee for the highest bench in America. Impeccable background, both in education and work history, he will add flavor to a souring Court. Not so fast say the Democrats as they dig for any dent in Gorsuch’s armor. Perhaps he J walked as a child. Or maybe he made an off the cuff remark concerning pizza indicating a slight against Italians. The latter nonsensical statements illustrate the length to which opposing party members will reach to deter Gorsuch’s nomination. These statements are facetious, no doubt, yet they exemplify the deep hate and demoralization of a party sinking fast. Point being there is no political absolution for those who take a process utilized for centuries to the brink with hardball tactics. President Trump’s continued attempt to move the country forward may be stifled by an embedded Obama mindset still in play. All indications are the President will have his players in place in the very near future with or without help from those who seek only gridlock in Washington.  Point of caution to liberals you are not dealing with a run of the mill president. Donald Trump is an alpha male. He will do whatever it takes to move his agenda forward and if necessary stick it to those who interfere with what is necessary and proper to carry out government function.  God bless America, the President and the people who love and support this nation. God damn those who seek to bring it down.  Mark Davis MD

Chasing Democracy: where has it gone

Chasing Democracy: where has it gone

Democracy has become an elusive term amongst those empowered to guard its basic principles. Historical references note when a country deviates from the foundations which made it strong, its downfall was not far behind. Edward Gibbon’s masterful work, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, illustrates how weakness, social decay and over-taxation were the final hammers that caused this nation-state to dismember. Gibbon’s eighteenth century masterpiece would not be so different had he written about 21st century America. Shadows similar to those cast by Rome’s toxic management of its populous, are evident in our present day society. America’s military once had the ability to fight wars on multiple fronts, has been diminished by a central government that puts our defense last. Our border protection has now become a convenient joke for the denizens of late night media. Men have been demasculinized, replaced with the embodiment of a unisexual being whose efficacy falls short of his original form. The nuclear family structure, once the strongest institution in the nation, has degenerated into single parent households with the government’s blessings. Divisive leadership has stirred up race hatred, economic bigotry and partitioned communities leaving desolation behind. Detroit exemplifies the collective elements of the latter circumstances. Taxation has become the folly of the fools that govern us no matter where they sit. Unable to bring economic leadership to the forefront, their only answer is more taxes. Recently, a huge tax increase was inflicted on the nation by an Administration whose ineptitude does not allow it to master the budgetary process. Decreased spending is an anathema to those who must use economic parlor tricks to stay in power. The same Administration also orchestrated the sequestration in exchange for a higher debt ceiling, now chides the opposing party for its results. No matter where you look, the underpinnings of America Democracy have been derided, diluted and or extinguished from view. Weakness, overregulation, economic duress and immorality define the embodiment of today’s America. As a result of the pandemonium moving through society from these deficiencies, socialism a distant cousin to democracy, has emerged to take hold of our institutions. Revitalization of democratic principles will take a person with the inner strength and versatility to confront  the insidious maneuvers now occurring in the back corridors of Washington, that person is yet to be defined. Stealing Democracy Obama Style

Stealing democracy Obama style

Obama’s greatest talent is deception. His birth records, recently released from their artificial cocoon, continue to create doubts to his origins. School records to validate Obama’s genius, as the media would like us to believe, have been sequestered along with the methodology he used to obtain admission to Harvard Law School. Two books credited to his name have the mark of an erudite ghostwriter, not from the hand of someone who requires a teleprompter to construct simple sentences. Obama was weaned on left wing rhetorical nonsense, why should we expect any better from him. For last three years Obama has successfully deconstructed institutions and traditions that have taken two centuries of sacrifice to establish. He has removed the words democratic and democracy from our fund of knowledge, replacing it with his brand of socialism. Obama’s sophistry is so profound that he even believes his own veiled lies. America exists at the right time to have such a chief executive.  This nation was deliberately dumb down in the last generation removing any analytic ability voters have to discern the danger zone candidates such as Obama would place this nation in. True reality hits hard when someone awakens from a coma. America, in the majority, is beginning to realize that they are not in Kansas anymore. From Main Street to Wall Street legal structure has changed, placing more control of our lives, in the hands of the central government at the expense of the individual. Obamacare is the president’s crowning achievement. This legislation was never intended to improve health care. It was a gift to lawyers, unions, Obama supporters and the indolent who will benefit by it in a myriad of ways. Wealth redistribution not health care will be the final outcome for a legislation that should never have seen the light of day. Obama’s intends to descend into Hell, the problem is he wants to take the rest of us with him. Do not let him, vote right in 2012.
